I recently took part in a surprise swap with a yarn and flowers theme. Wanting to keep it simple so the recipient can have a got at making it too I decided crochet a flower granny square. 4 squares and 2 bangles later and a I have purse for a shopping list or sun glassers. Always liking a small treat I added some love heart sweets, made locally in Derbyshire.
Finally I decided to add one of my favorite crochet flowers as a badge, I love the way there's no sewing up on this pattern and it uses one of each kind of stitch.
