Repair...

Just sharing these gorgeous beads with you, hand rolled paper, fair trade extra long necklace. Was one very very long one, now it's two! And I couldn't resist adding a pair of earrings hope she likes them.

Resolved to Sew 2012

Our new old Victorian house will have heating soon!!!
In the meantime I am Resolved to Sew! Curtains and Draft excluders for obvious cold and drafty reasons, (just looking for patterns) Cushions and toys to make it more cosy and anything else I possibly can to make a homemade, cosy (less costly) home for my family,
Watch this space as I learn to use a sewing machine and put up work so far, not sure if draft excluder patterns still exisit?

To help in my progress I have entered  Very Berry Handmades Excellent Fabric Giveaway.... Resolved to sew

Just need a table and can fetch a sewing machine, pattern suggestions welcome :) 

PS If I were to win I might go for the voucher for Fancy Moon I'd love browsing and buying from their shop they always have gorgeous fabrics in and I’d spending it easy :)

New Years Resolution....

My resolution will be  "to be prepared for Christmas next year" I think everything is going OK and then it catches me out every year. The last two weeks disappear with parties, plays, shopping and baking before I am ready so this time I will start early! Anyone else feeling the same?

Thank you @beadsunlimited for my Wine Glass Charms

 Won in @beadsunlimiteds competition I was very excited when the postman delivered my wine glass charms.
The size and quality were Great. Nice and large so even after a few drinks in the dim party lights you wouldn't need to be squinting to find your glass! 

After accidentally sending my beads flying a few times I had to get out my stash and was doubly happy to discover I even had a bit of wire to spare so made a @rustyfish charm for my own glass.... although i like the snowflake and the snowman and the raindeers... I might have a problem sharing!

 

And must go out and get those new glasses!

P.S. WE HAVE ELECTRICITY IN ALL OF THE HOUSE NOW!!

Rudolf left his sock reindeer at our house

Randolf, Rudolf's sock reindeer teddy is stopping for a few days.... thanks to a happy accident at a sock monster making  workshop I ran last week :)   I may have some more socks to make kits at £8.50....

5 days left for postal orders....

And my computer and phone done want to talk to each other or work! Thank goodness for the lo-tec needle and cotton. This pocket kilt pin is available on Folksy but whether I get any more socks listed depends on this @#&*#! Technology! .....
