Crochet Hat

My latest make reminds me of a 1920 Cloche hat and I couldn't resist the button.

The idea came from this

Free Pattern: Red Bulky Skullcap with Big Black Button
but as usual I didn't have the right yarn so just used the picture as a guide. I am very pleased with finished hat, (just wish I could take a decent photo) thank you BirDeli.

Love Japanese Patterns

Being dyslexic a pattern that uses pictures/symbols is fantastic, so using a Japanese pattern didn't worry me, can't read, won't read!

But on opening the link I found that they kindly had an English version so I began making this with my Crochet Class over a year ago. (with James Brett's Marble Chunky)

Finally a few weeks ago I made lining for the inside of the bag so was able to finish it at long last and am happy to report it's like the tardis, but warmer and more colourful, I love it!

ps here's the link to original pattern
